You searched for a way to watch Stories from an account that is locked down, so let us save you some time. FollowOtter cannot show you those Stories. Why a locked-down account stays locked down
When an account is locked down, Instagram's servers only send its Stories, posts and follower lists to accounts the owner has approved. The check is done on Instagram's side, every time content is requested, before anything leaves their servers. Nothing is hidden on your phone waiting to be unlocked, and there is no spare copy sitting somewhere for a tool to fetch.
An anonymous Story viewer works precisely because most Stories are open to anyone with the link. That is why FollowOtter can load them for you without an account. A locked-down account is the opposite: its content is served to a short list of approved people and nobody else. There is no version of "outside the app" that is also "inside the approved list."
The only ways to see those Stories are the ones Instagram itself allows. The owner accepts your follow request, or the owner opens the account up. That is it.
How to spot an "unlock any account" scam
Search for this topic and you will find plenty of sites promising to unlock any profile. They cannot, so the question is what they are actually after. Usually one of these:
- Your Instagram login. The most common ask, and the most dangerous. Once entered, your account can be used to follow spam, send messages, or get locked out and held for a fee. No legitimate viewer needs your password, because your account should not be involved at all.
- A "human verification" survey. An endless loop of quizzes and sign-ups that pay the site per completion. The profile never unlocks. The loading bar is decorative.
- An app install. Often a file from outside the official stores. The install is the payout; what it does on your phone afterwards is the risk.
- A payment for "premium access". Charged before anything is shown, then nothing is shown.
